German Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour, sifted
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 to 1 c. nuts, chopped
    4 c. apples, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients with spoon.
    Batter will be stiff.
    Spread in floured and greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 60 minutes, until cake tests done.
