Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    2 carrots, diced
    1 c. celery, diced
    2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
    salt and pepper
    5 medium potatoes, diced
    1/2 c. chopped mushrooms
    1/8 c. dried marjoram
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 tsp. margarine
Preparation
    Bring to a boil onion, carrot, celery and parsley in 4 cups water.
    (It is important to measure water.)
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Lower heat and cook for 15 minutes (covered).
    Add potatoes, mushrooms and marjoram.
    Cook until potatoes are done, about 30 minutes.
    Combine flour and margarine.
    Stir into soup. Cook 5 minutes, stirring as mixture thickens.
    Makes 4 servings.
