Cherry Pie Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) cherry Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (20 oz.) cherry pie filling
    1 (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 to 3/4 small (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, softened
Preparation
    Dissolve cherry Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water.
    Fold in cherry pie filling; pour into an 8 x 8-inch Pyrex dish. Refrigerate until firm.
    Whip cream cheese and fold in Cool Whip; add crushed pineapple.
    Blend well.
    Spread over jelled cherry mix.
    Cut into squares to serve, after topping is firm.
