Honey Scotch Topping For Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 c. butter
    3/4 c. honey
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, butter, honey and salt in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to a soft ball stage (234\u00b0).
    Then stir in an additional 1/3 cup evaporated milk and cook until sauce is thick and smooth (about 3 minutes longer).
    Makes about 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
    Serve hot or cold.
