Leona'S Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box light brown sugar
4 well-beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Put box of brown sugar in top of double boiler with simmering water.
Mix together the next 5 ingredients and stir into brown sugar.
Stir until well mixed.
Pour into well-greased pan and bake at 350\u00b0 about 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
Cut into squares while warm.
Let cool before removing from pan.
