Summer Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. yellow squash
    1 large onion, chopped
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Wash and cook squash 3 to 4 minutes in boiling water and cool. Saute onion in 4 tablespoons butter.
    Add squash, cut into cubes. Add seasoning.
    Mix eggs, then cheese.
    Spoon into casserole pan. Dab with remaining butter.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
