Macaroon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 saltine crackers, crushed
12 dates, chopped
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract
3 stiffly beaten egg whites
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except beaten egg whites.
When mixed, fold in egg whites.
Pour into buttered 8-inch pie plate.
Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serves 6.
