Fresh Vegetable Medley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. table salt
    4 medium carrots, sliced thin diagonally
    2 medium zucchini, cut in 2 x 1/2-inch sticks
    1/2 lb. broccoli, cut in 1-inch pieces
    3 Tbsp. butter, softened
Preparation
    About 15 minutes before serving, bring to boil water and 1/2 teaspoon of table salt in large saucepan.
    Add vegetables; cover and simmer 5 to 8 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp. Drain well.
    Spoon into serving dish.
    Stir in remaining table salt and butter.
    Makes 8 servings.
