Fudge Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

pastry for single-crust 9-inch pie
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Prepare and roll out pastry. Line a 9-inch pie plate. Trim pastry to 1/2-inch beyond edge of pie plate. Flute edge high. Line pastry with a double thickness of aluminum foil. Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven 8 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 4 to 5 minutes more or until pastry is set and dry. Reduce the oven temperature to 350\u00b0.
