Warm German Style Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch pieces
    2 c. green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces
    4 lower-fat or turkey bacon slices
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1/4 c. white vinegar
    chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in a large pot of boiling, salted water 12 minutes.
    Add green beans and cook until potatoes and beans are tender, about 6 minutes; drain.
    Transfer to a large bowl.
