Quick Buttermilk Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lukewarm buttermilk
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. soft shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 1/2 to 2 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm buttermilk.
    Sift dry ingredients together and blend in shortening.
    Add buttermilk and mix well. Knead for a short while on a floured board.
    Place in a greased bowl.
    Cover.
    Let rise to double in bulk. Shape into rolls. Place in greased 9-inch pan.
    Let rise to double in size.
    Bake at 360\u00b0 until brown.
