Louisiana Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. oil
3/4 lb. shrimp, cleaned
1 small onion, chopped
1 small pepper, cut in thin strips
1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 c. long grain rice (Minute)
Preparation

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
Add shrimp, onion, pepper and celery.
Cook and stir until shrimp is pink. Add tomatoes, sauce, hot pepper sauce, thyme and garlic powder. Bring to boil.
Stir in rice.
Cover, remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
Fluff with fork.
Serves 4.
