Baked Squash From The Black-Eyed Pea - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. medium style yellow squash
    2 eggs
    1 c. bread crumbs
    4 oz. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cut off tips of squash. Cut squash into 3 or 4 pieces.
    Place in pot and add water to just cover squash. Cook until tender. Drain in colander.
    Mash and add other ingredients.
    Pour mixture into ovenproof dish and cover with a light layer of bread crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned.
    Makes 10 servings.
