Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 envelope onion soup
    1 medium head lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
    1 tomato, chunked
    1 chopped bell pepper
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 bag Doritos, crumbled
    1 large bottle Catalina dressing
    1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
Preparation
    Brown meat with soup mix; set aside to drain and cool on paper towels.
    Mix remaining ingredients except dressing.
    When meat cools, add to salad mixture.
    Just before serving add dressing to taste.
    Mix well.
