Ida Craver'S Cooked German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage
    5 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. vinegar
    water
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Shred cabbage as for slaw.
    Heat bacon drippings and add flour.
    Brown as for gravy.
    Add vinegar and some water.
    Add cabbage and cook until limber.
    You may need to add more water and vinegar according to taste or you may need to delete some vinegar.
