One-Meal Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large potatoes, peeled
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. uncooked rice
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    sliced onion
    2 sliced carrots
    2 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Slice potatoes in bottom of greased 1 1/2-quart casserole and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
    Add rice and then ground beef.
    Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon salt.
    Add onions and carrots, sliced.
    Pour tomato juice over all.
    Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
