Fettuccine Alfredo With Variations - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) bag fettuccine noodles
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. heavy or whipping cream
    1 c. fresh grated Parmesan
    2 Tbsp. parsley or 3 to 4 sprigs fresh snipped parsley
    1 Tbsp. basil or 2 sprigs fresh basil
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash or two of onion powder
    peeled, deveined shrimp
    scallops
    fresh crab meat
    cubed roast turkey
    chicken
    broccoli
    asparagus
    mushrooms
Preparation
    These should be added shortly before tossing with noodles (5 to 10 minutes).
