Easy Pecan Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (2-layer size) white or chocolate cake mix
    1/4 c. margarine, softened
    1 slightly beaten egg
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Lightly grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Set aside 1 cup of the cake mix for the filling.
