French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large onions
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    3 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. paprika
    3 1/2 c. milk
    3 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Slice onions thin, then chop.
    Mix onion, water, salt, sugar, paprika and oleo.
    Cook until onions are well done.
    Add milk but do not boil.
    Heat to near simmering stage.
    Stir in cheese until cheese melts.
    Serve warm.
