Eggnog(Civil War Times, December 24, 1864) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. cream (whipping)
    1 c. brandy
    1/4 c. wine
    4 egg whites
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat the egg yolks until light, then slowly beat in the sugar, cream, brandy and wine.
    Whip the whites separately, then fold into other ingredients.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
