Scotchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla (I add 1/2 tsp. black walnut flavoring)
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt margarine.
    Add sugar and blend.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in vanilla, flour and baking powder.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add nuts and stir lightly. Pour in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
