Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh blackberries (or canned)
    1/2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. self rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Stir 1/2 c. sugar into fruit and set aside. Melt butter in baking pan. Sift flour and sugar together. Add milk a little at a time and mix well until smooth. Pour batter into pan of melted butter. (Do not mix), then pour berries over batter. Bake for 50 minutes.
