Sausage Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread, buttered
    1 lb. pork bulk sausage
    6 oz. shredded Longhorn cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Spread bread with butter.
    Place in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish; set aside.
    Cook sausage; drain well.
    Spoon over bread.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Combine eggs, half and half and salt; mix well and pour over cheese.
    Cover and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8.
