Every Day Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    a little cinnamon (if desired)
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. hot water
    2 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix together and pour over the first mixture in casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve plain or with whipped topping. Serve warm or cold.
