Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. sour cucumbers (store bought)
    sugar
    pickling spice
    mustard seed
    garlic button
Preparation
    Drain cucumbers; cut into slices.
    Place 1/2 in jar and pour 2 1/2 pounds sugar over.
    Add 1 teaspoon pickling spice, 1/2 teaspoon
    mustard
    seed and 1 garlic button.
    Add rest of cucumbers
    and repeat.
    Let stand 5 days.
    After 3rd day, stir with wooden spoon (use nothing metal).
