Soft Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk, scalded
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 egg
    5 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Add butter, sugar and salt in milk; when lukewarm, add yeast dissolved in warm water.
    Add egg, slightly beaten.
    Stir in the flour gradually and form into a soft dough.
    Knead 2 minutes.
    Cover; let rise in warm place until double in size.
    Shape into rolls; let rise again.
    Bake until golden brown.
    Remove from oven and brush tops with melted butter if desired.
    Remove to wire racks to cool.
