Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box chocolate cake mix
    1 stick margarine, softened
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. finely chopped nuts (optional)
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels (35 caramels)
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Put cake mix into a bowl and cut in margarine.
    Add 1/2 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup chopped nuts.
    Spread half the mixture into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 10 minutes. Melt caramels and 1/2 cup evaporated milk over low heat, stirring constantly.
    Cover baked layer with chocolate chips and 3/4 cup chopped nuts.
    Spread caramel mixture over chips and nuts.
    Cover with remaining batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cut.
