Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cucumbers
    2 bell peppers
    3 medium onions
    1/2 c. salt
    5 c. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Measure cucumbers after slicing.
    Slice peppers and bury in crushed ice 2 hours.
    Drain.
    Pour cucumbers in mixture.
    Heat, then after they change color, put in jars and seal.
