Poor Man'S Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box raisins
3 c. water
2 Tbsp. Crisco
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. soda
4 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Boil raisins, water and Crisco together until raisins are plump.
Add rest of ingredients to large bowl.
Stir to combine and then add boiled mixture to dry ingredients and stir well. Pour into greased tube pan and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
I bake this cake every Christmas.
