German Chocolate Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 can Pet milk
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. light Kraft caramels
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
Preparation
    Melt caramels with 1/3 cup Pet milk; set aside.
    Melt butter with 1/3 cup Pet milk and add to cake mix.
    Add 1 cup chopped pecans if desired.
    Put 1/2 cake mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Press in firmly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes. Take from oven and put on chocolate chips.
    Pour caramel mixture over top and put remaining cake mixture over this.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
