Homemade Applesauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pot full of raw apples
1 1/2 c. hot water
Preparation

Peel and cut bad places from apples.
Cut apples into quarters.
Add water.
Cook apples very slowly, stirring often. Apples will stick and burn if not stirred often.
If apples look too thick, add more water a little at a time.
When done, remove a few at a time and run through a colander.
Freeze or can applesauce.
Add sugar and spices at time of use.
