Microwave Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 c. chopped candied cherries (optional)

Preparation

Mix together
sugar,
water, corn syrup and salt in a 2 quart casserole.
Loosely
cover
with a lid or plastic wrap. Microwave on
High (100%) for 5 to 6 minutes or until boiling. Uncover. Microwave
on
High
(100%)
for 8 to 10 minutes, or until
hard ball stage is reached.
