Easy Date-Nut Bars(Low-Fat - Low Cholesterol) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    3 egg whites, beaten or egg substitute equivalent
    1/4 c. cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Add sugar and oil to eggs; blend well.
    Stir in sifted dry ingredients, then add nuts, dates and vanilla.
    Pour into greased or sprayed 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Cool in pan and then cut into bars.
