Corn And Okra Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 c. corn or 1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel
1 1/2 c. cut fresh okra or 1 lb. frozen
1 1/2 c. peeled chopped tomatoes
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
1/4 tsp. thyme
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Preparation

Saute pepper and onion 5 minutes. Add corn and okra. Cook on medium heat 8 to 10 minutes. Add tomato paste, tomatoes, thyme, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Mix well; cover. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
