Upside-Down Dutch Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large or 7 to 8 small apples, cut into eighths
sugar and cinnamon mixed
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. melted shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place apples in greased pie plate; cover with cinnamon and sugar.
Mix eggs, sugar, flour, shortening and vanilla in a bowl, then pour over apples.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar again. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
