Nannie'S Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 gal. milk
    2 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Separate eggs and beat yolk and whites in separate bowls.
    Add sugar, flour and salt to yolks.
    Add milk.
    Fold in whites.
    Add vanilla.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick. Cool.
    Add desired fruit and freeze in 4-quart ice cream freezer.
