Orange Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    peel of an orange
Preparation
    Peel orange in quarters and cut in narrow strips.
    Place peels in saucepan.
    Cover in cold water and let it boil up once and drain; repeat 5 times.
    Heat the sugar with hot water.
    When dissolved, add orange peel.
    Cook slowly until syrup is nearly evaporated; drain and roll the strips in sugar.
