24 Hour Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    1 green pepper
    1 small onion
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/2 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Shred and mix cabbage, pepper and onion.
    Boil for 3 minutes the sugar, vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard and salad oil.
    Add boiled mixture to cabbage mixture while still hot.
    Store in covered container in refrigerator overnight before serving.
    Will keep 7 to 10 days.
