Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large ripe tomatoes
    3 large green peppers, grated and drained
    3 medium onions, grated and drained
    2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Grate peppers and onions together and let drain in refrigerator overnight. Scald and peel tomatoes.
    Cut into quarters. Cook tomatoes 40 minutes in kettle. Add all other ingredients and cook 1 hour or until mixture thickens.
    Pour into sterilized jars or freeze.
