Thelma'S Beef Macaroni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 or 2 lb. ground beef
    1 large (30 oz.) can hot chili beans
    1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    5 or 6 slices cheese
    2 c. water (rinse beans or saucepans with water)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion together. Add beans, tomato sauce and water. Simmer 1/2 hour or so. Add macaroni; cook on low until macaroni is done (stir a couple of times). Put cheese over macaroni. Serve when cheese is melted.
