Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 pkg. Kraft caramels
    1/2 c. butter (not margarine)
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed on box.
    Bake half the batter for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0 in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cool completely.
    Mix caramels, butter and milk; melt.
    Pour over baked, cooled cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
    Cover with remaining batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
