Lasagne, Shortcut Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can (3 1/2 c.) tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 or 2 envelopes spaghetti sauce mix
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    8 oz. lasagne or wide noodles
    1 (6 or 8 oz.) pkg. thin sliced Mozzarella cheese
    1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat slowly.
    Spoon off excess fat.
    Add the next 4 ingredients; cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt to taste.
    Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender; drain.
    Rinse in cold water.
    Place half the noodles in an 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
    Cover with a third of the sauce.
    Add half the
    Mozzarella, then half the cottage cheese. Repeat layers, ending with sauce.
    Top with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Let stand 15 minutes.
    Cut into squares.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
