Creamy Ham Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 (1 lb.) bag Dutch Maid noodles
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2/3 c. milk
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 to 3 c. cubed fully cooked ham
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook noodles separately.
    In a large skillet, melt butter. Add celery, green pepper, onion and salt.
    Cook until tender. Blend in soup and milk; stir in cheese, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
    Combine egg noodles, soup mixture and ham.
    Mix well.
    Pour into a 3-quart casserole dish and top with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
