Fruktsoppa (Dessert Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. diced, dried apricots
    3/4 c. diced, pitted prunes
    1 1/2 qt. water
    1 stick cinnamon
    1 orange, thinly sliced with peel
    1 lemon, thinly sliced with peel
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. quick-cooking tapioca
    2 tart red apples, peeled and diced
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    1/4 c. dried currants
Preparation
    Put the first 3 ingredients in a saucepan; let stand for 10 minutes.
    Add cinnamon, orange, lemon, sugar and tapioca; bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add the remaining ingredients and cook until the apples are tender (about 5 minutes).
    Take out the cinnamon stick.
    Chill.
    Serve cold.
