Chicken Souffle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices white bread
4 c. cooked chicken (one 6 lb. hen or 2 fryers)
1 can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
1/2 c. mayonnaise
8 slices processed cheese
4 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimentos
Preparation

Break bread in pieces and place in a buttered baking pan (9 x 13 x 2 1/2-inch).
Arrange chicken, cut in pieces, on top of the bread.
Add water chestnuts.
Dot with mayonnaise and top with cheese.
