Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    2 medium onions
    2 medium carrots
    2 stalks celery
    1/3 c. barley
    1/4 c. catsup
    1 Tbsp. beef bouillon granules
    2 tsp. season salt
    1 tsp. dried basil
    5 c. water
Preparation
    Cook ground beef in a large saucepan until browned.
    Drain. Stir in tomatoes (including juice), chopped onion, sliced carrots, chopped celery, barley, catsup, bouillon, season salt, crushed basil and water.
    Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for one hour.
    Serves 6.
