Macaroni Fruit Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. macaroni
3 qt. boiling water
1 can pineapple tidbits
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 c. black grapes
1 c. finely chopped celery
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 apple, diced and dipped in 1 oz. lemon juice
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Slowly add macaroni and salt to boiling water.
Cook, stirring occasionally until tender.
Drain; rinse with cold water and drain again.
Drain liquid from the pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup of the liquid.
In a large bowl, combine macaroni, pineapple, oranges, grapes, celery, marshmallows and apples in small bowl.
Blend sour cream, mayonnaise, reserved pineapple juice and lemon until smooth.
Toss macaroni mixture with sour cream mixture.
Chill well.
Serve in lettuce lined bowl.
Sprinkle with nuts.
