Baked Alaska - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 ice cream slice
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 cake slice
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Beat egg to foamy stage in large bowl with beaters.
    Add vanilla and cream of tartar; beat to soft peaks. Add sugar gradually.
    Cover cake with meringue to seal sides.
    Cook until tan.
