Raspberry Jam Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. raspberry jam
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar gradually.
    Add egg yolks; blend well. Add flour slowly, mixing well.
    Fold in nuts.
    Put 1/2 mixture into greased 8-inch pan.
    Spread jam on top.
    Pat remaining mixture flat.
    Cut into strips and place over jam.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool completely before cutting.
