Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 can sauerkraut, drained
    3/4 c. celery, diced
    1 small onion, diced
    1/2 small jar pimentos, diced
Preparation
    In saucepan, mix sugar, vinegar and water.
    Bring to boil and let cool.
    Mix other ingredients and add to water mixture. Refrigerate overnight.
    Drain off juice; serve.
    This can be prepared in advance.
    Keeps fresh in refrigerator for weeks.
